Ignite sources an extensive list of impressive red and white wines from all over the world – each one designed to complement our unique menu.

We have created innovative dishes that are a stunning fusion of Eastern and European flavours, guaranteed to set
your senses alight.

We have carefully selected the most ‘quaffable’ red and white wines, many exclusive to Ignite, from both Old and New World vineyards.

Advice on finding the perfect accompaniment to your meal is always available from the friendly and knowledgeable members of our wine staff.

Vin de Pays d’Oc, Duboeuf, France A medium-bodied red with red berry fruit and good complexity.

Central Valley, Chile Nose of blackcurrant and plums balanced with graphite and toasted coffee flavours. Soft, concentrated palate with red fruit notes and a long aftertaste.

Nero d’Avola / Sangiovese Angelo £15.50

Sicily, Italy A southern Italian red, full of fruit and depth. Plummy fruit with a good weighty body.

Cape Dream Pinotage £15.50

Western Cape, South Africa A generous ripe fruit with classic liquorice flavours. This Pinotage is well structured and has velvety tannins.

Merlot Gran Hacienda £15.95

Santa Rita, Chile Chile has traditionally grown the Bordeaux varieties: medium-bodied with a clean finish with plump bramble and chocolate flavours.

Cloof Inkspot £16.50

Darling South Africa A wine of inky concentration, with rich plum and cassis aromas, a super-juicy feel in the mouth, and notes of spice and tobacco to add lift.

Sacred Hill Shiraz £16.95

South East Australia Jam and plum flavours dominate with just a hint of black pepper spice. The result is a deep crimson colour, a wonderful bouquet and a rich smooth complexity of integrated flavours.

Cockburns of Leith Vintage Reserve Claret £ 17.50

Bordeaux, France A traditional style with blackcurrant fruit; fine, firm tannins and a hints of vanilla and spice. Well balanced, with good length and dry on the finish. From the excellent 2009 vintage.

Colección Malbec Finca La Colonia £17.95

Bodega Norton, Argentina Full throttled Malbec, great concentration with blueberries and cocoa to the fore. Ideal for lamb or beef based dishes.

Paternina Banda Azul Crianza £19.95

Rioja, Spain A bouquet of restrained fruit and a full palate which shows discreet vanilla from oak barrels and some cherry flavours. Spain’s most popular Crianza!

Domaine de Beaurenard, France An immensely fruity nose, with spicy and balsamic notes, then great complexity on the palate: power, finesse, and an incredibly long, mineral-fresh finish.
